The Scandinavia Hotel's building dates from the year 1000 (the walls and foundations are from Byzantine times); according to legend it was here the pretty Desdemona first met the Moor Othello, at a party. In the early 1950's the residence was turned into a hotel by the Tinacci family, which vaunts a long tradition in the hotel business and which invites guests to their noble residence, offering relax, comfort, service and atmosphere.
